Penelope is my almost-4-year-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi. Weighing in at only 23 pounds, she's a bit of a runt. I'd wanted a corgi for the longest time after falling in love with Ein from the anime Cowboy Bebop, so I got her for my 21st birthday. Penelope is very energetic, and LOVES everyone - both people AND other dogs. She's very overzealous about everything. She's quite bright, but also a smartass.

Penelope is a dog that needs a lot of attention. If there are people in a room, and none of those people are paying attention to her, she will bark and cry until someone starts paying attention to her. She loves the snow, both romping in it and eating it. Even though we've never given her any human food, she acts like we do. If you have something she sits there and expects you to give her some of it. Whatever it is.

Her favorite toys are anything that squeaks. Give her a stuffed animal that squeaks, and she will wear the squeaker out. Then she'll rip the toy apart and pull the stuffing out. She like to chew on things and tear things up, so we have to keep chewable things (that shouldn't be chewed) out of her reach.
