That movie makes me cry so hard.

Always look on the bright side of life

Dear “lrodriguez@yahoo.com”:

Since you’ve obviously been posting under a fake email address (it bounced back when I tried to write to it), I’ll simply post my retort here for everyone (including you) to see. While you made a poor attempt at insulting me (a comment that went straight to moderation and was subsequently deleted), I’d like to point out that the joke’s really on you, Señor/a Rodriguez. You failed to use proper grammar when you so eloquently stated: “Your so retarded.” Fail, but thanks for trying.

That is all. No love,
Arwen

In other news, I’ve been ridiculously happy lately. Not exactly sure why, because I’m unemployed (my summer job ended), I’ve got bills to pay, the Japanese class I was supposed to take was canceled, and I don’t have an actual costume for NYAF, which is less than two weeks away. I only have the wig and the prop for my cosplay.

No, I’ve been happy for a few different reasons. I recently re-evaluated some of my priorities, and being around negative, unhappy people simply isn’t one of them. It wasn’t easy, but I shed those people from my life, and I find I’ve been living a slightly better existence. I’ve also started talking to a certain person with whom I connect on many levels, and who actually makes me feel good about myself. The past almost four years has done nothing but destroy any shred of self-confidence or self-love I may have had, and this person gives me a glimmer of hope.

From experience, some people accused me of being a bitch just because I chose not to hang with them. They missed a more significant point: The more pessimistic they are the less I happy I am. So, in order for me to remain happy, I simply don’t talk to “toxic waste” as I call negative people. It took me so many years to accept the fact that my happiness comes first, not what other people think. So, always remember this: Your happiness comes first! Rock on :-)

Best thing to do is keep on the bright side and keep people that are negative out. I try to do it, it doesn’t work all the time but Always trying. lol :D

I’m so happy that you have thought things through and are happy now. I’m sure your life will get even better and happier. Given an option to live life happily or not, the answer is pretty obvious. ;) Keep smiling! :)
