I am totally loving this chilly weather. Summer was never my favorite season.

This is why I don’t drink

I’ve effecitvely broken my new years resolution of blogging every day.  For the past week, I’ve been working almost non-stop on the new Lion’s Den CT website, in addition to attempting to work out more. I feel like I’ve been gaining weight, but maybe that’s because now that I’m off the antibiotics, food doesn’t go right through me. Time to hit those treadmills…

It seems like almost everyone who works at the Lion’s Den is married to someone else who works at the Lion’s Den. I’m no exception – Eric’s been working there for about a month, and I’ve been roped in as their webdesigner and unofficial tech support.

Last night we went over this one couple’s house for drinks and a movie. I had four Smirnoff Twists and was pretty gone. Did some drunk texting, drunk IMing (once we got back to our place), and then couldn’t stop giggling while I was trying to go to sleep. Like, giggling-so-hard-it-hurts-your-gut. Then I had the worst hangover ever when I woke up this morning. A bowl of rice, a bottle of water, and several mini Reeses cups later, I was feeling a little better, but I still haven’t shaken this dull throbbing headache. And the beautiful weather and bright sunshine didn’t help much either. It’s just a shame I didn’t get to enjoy today.

Anyway, I’ve been starting to plan out a few cosplays. I’ve been invited to be part of a “casual Naruto photoshoot” at the end of this month, in which I’ll be Temari. I was supposed to go into the city today to get a wig and a forehead protector, but that didn’t happen so hopefully I can go tomorrow. I also have to start putting together my cosplays for Anime Boston, which is in roughly two months. For one of my cosplays, Christina and I are being Loly and Menoly from Bleach (respectively), and our friend Shelley is being a female Aizen. It’s going to be sexy.

I’ve never heard of a bowl of rice being good for a hangover before! I may have to give that a try haha.

Aw, I was going to suggest that if you had time, t-shirt hell is hiring a new web designer/artist person. All the details are on the site.

The deadline is the 15th!

I don’t drink often so I’m pretty much a light weight too.

Your night out with a few friends sounded like lots of fun! But of course every fun event (with drinking) will always end up in some not-fun mornings after :( I’m glad you’re feeling better now. Lol Now you will know what to expect next time.

Good luck on your costumes! I’m sure you’ll look fantab. You did an amazing enough job dressing up for Halloween I can’t wait to see what you’ll look like for actual acting purposes!

Sounds like a good night. Those coolers make for killer hangovers though. Mine worst have been from Bacardi Orange (they taste like creamsicles). The headache is what kills me, and that horrible heavy feeling that just kind of weighs you down.

I hope you enjoy your cosplay. I’ve never done anything like that, but I did dress up as Belial from Angel Sanctuary for halloween a few years ago. I love costumes!
