Worst. Day. Ever.
My day sucked so much. At work, the pharmacy closed early because we had no pharmacist. Instead of sending us home, Bob had Andrea and I packing out crates for the rest of the night, so that we’d get paid for the hours we were scheduled.
I might as well have been wearing a sign that said “KICK ME” because that’s pretty much what I got — verbally. I was recognized as the chief pharmacy employee, and got yelled at by angry, disgruntled customers while I was trying to pack out batteries.
Apparently someone who was quite miffed called corporate office and told them he was having a horrible allergic reaction and that if he didn’t get his medicine, he would sue. This, of course, was a dirty lie, that man was in our store yelling at Bob, and had no signs of any sorts of allergic reaction, let alone an acute one.
So the head pharmacist guy at corporate office told Bob that he was authorized to go back there and dispense prescriptions that were already finished.
This posed a problem, because now everyone was wanting, and there was a lot of “Well, why not ME?!” type things.
So, that was pretty much my entire day. Not to mention, packing out crate after crate after crate and running around the whole store all day really takes a lot out of you.
After work, I went to the movies with Josh, Justin, and Erin to see National Treasure. It was an alright movie… a little lacking though. We then went to Wendy’s and Josh got food. We watched someone get pulled over, and then totally let off the hook.
I come home, and this was the moment that really topped off my incredible day.
Anyhoots, there’s this guy I met recently. He’s 2 years younger than me, but we absolutely hit it off incredibly.
I find out he has a girlfriend.
Wonderful.
Scratch that.
