Do you like cupcakes? XD — Of course I do! Who doesn't? :D

Bootycakes!

So this past Thursday, I went to get my tattoo. I picked Corina and Lindsay up at school, then we all went back to Lindsay’s house for a bit before heading down to the tattoo parlor. Justin was late getting there, and he didn’t want me to start without him, so I went to pick up Ladia from day care while we were waiting, and then when I got back there, Justin (and Hugel) STILL weren’t there yet, so I started without them. Lindsay held my hand, ’cause I was nervous. The guy placed the design on my shoulder about three or four times before he got it straight and in a spot where it looked good.

And now for the part you’ve all been dying to know.

Yes, it hurt. According to Lindsay, I was making some pretty funny faces. I don’t really know what to compare the pain to, except for maybe the feeling of accidentally shoving a safety pin into your skin, and dragging it. Or maybe, a continuous paper cut. That’s only for about the first half a minute though, then it just turns into a numb pain. The whole process was only about half an hour, so there wasn’t too much trauma. Actually, it was pretty tolerable, it wasn’t like OMG PAIN I’M DYYYYING! Then Justin and Hugel and Erica got there about two minutes after I was done. Lindsay took pictures of it, and I kept having to remove the makeshift bandage so everyone could see.

And now for the news — new layout! I got really tired of the skins really quickly. I dunno, they were cool at first, but then I felt like they were just kinda slapped together and were really lacking, and whenever I wanted to edit something, I had seven different style sheets to edit it on. Yeah, that was fun.

I’M GOING TO SEE THE AQUABATS ON JUNE 18TH! Well, it’s not definite yet, because I haven’t bought tickets yet, but The Aquabats will be in New York City on that evening, and Corina and I (and hopefully Lindsay) are going to go. I almost peed in my pants when I found out they were coming to NYC. Tickets are only $12, and now that I have a credit card, I can buy advance tickets online! Huzzah!

Speaking of bands, I’ve found quite possibly my most favorite immature-themed band. Well, they’re not really a band. It’s this thing that the two boys from Mindless Self Indulgence put together, and they called themselves the Left Rights. Half of their songs are about poop, pooping, farting, or genitalia. (I’m weird and have this weird obsession with fecal humor.) Most of the 39 tracks are less than a minute long, and some of them are just talking, or random retarded sound-file type things. It’s so hilarious. You probably won’t find this stuff on whatever P2P client you download your mp3′s from, but if you IM me asking for it, I’ll be happy to share it with you.

Fruit20 is the best stuff ever. It’s runner up to Snapple.

So, I still haven’t found a full-time job. I applied at Home Depot. Freakin’ Home Depot. After about four days, I called them to ask if they’d recieved my application. They did, and apparently, I’m not “qualified enough for employment”. Bah. And all of the 36572364837463827632957269 places I’ve faxed my resume to have not called me back either. But, since I started typing prescriptions at the pharmacy, Tom (the head pharmacist) has been saying he’s going to try and get the tech test for me. If I take and pass this test, I will become a pharmacy technician, and my name will be in a state-wide database (or something like that), and I’ll get a special name tag, and I’ll get to wear a special white lab coat, and I’ll get a plaque on the wall at Eckerd, AND I’ll get a decent increase in my pay. As in, $10-$15 an hour. If I get that, then I’ll work full-time there. I told my mom about it, but she’s still up my ass about applying for every other job on the face of the planet.

That’s all for now. Oh, if you wanna see a picture of my splendiforous tattoo, check my cam.
